Dear MaPhIns and gaming friends, This Saturday, our third multi-world randomizer event starts on our Discord https://discord.gg/TpRkhup8Qu, and you can join from 6:30 PM. 🎉 Registration is open until Saturday at 6:00 PM. Here's some more information: ⬇️ What's it about? 🤔 You choose a supported game in advance. These will be automatically modded so that you can find items for the other participants in your games, and they, in turn, unlock items for you. All items are randomized across all games, so your progress in Game A unlocks important items for someone in Game B! While you play, you can discuss which items you need on our Discord https://discord.gg/TpRkhup8Qu or stream your progress. Which games are supported? 🎮 You can register with one or more short games; the important thing is that you can finish the games in one evening. Many games also support options that allow you to finish the game faster. You can find all supported games on our Discord https://discord.gg/TpRkhup8Qu, and a smaller selection can also be found directly at https://archipelago.gg/games. How do I register? ✍️ You need to send us a configuration file (.yaml file) containing information about, for example, how far you want to play your game. You can find out more about this and the setup in our Discord. The important thing is that you register by Saturday at 6:00 PM. If you have any further questions, feel free to write them to us in the corresponding Discord channel https://discord.gg/TpRkhup8Qu. :) We look forward to a great gaming night with you! 🎉 Your Gaming-AG

Dear music fans! 🎤💃🕺 The new semester is in full swing, so it's an even better reason to have a night full of interactive music 🎆. Everyone is welcome, no matter how well you can dance. Just please bring a pair of clean shoes 👠👞 or dance in socks 🧦. As always, you can expect non-alcoholic drinks 🥤 and snacks 🍿 – completely free of charge! Alcoholic beverages such as beer 🍺 and wine 🍷 can be brought by yourselves, but please no ❌ spirits. If you'd like to help us with the setup 👷‍♂️, feel free to come by at **6:00 PM** to SemiTemp. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us anytime at [karaoke@lists.fsmpi.rwth-aachen.de](mailto:karaoke@lists.fsmpi.rwth-aachen.de) 📧 or just talk to us during the evening! 🗣️💬 We look forward to your incredible performances! 🎶🌟 Yours, the Karaoke AG and the Dance AK 💃🎤 (Mika and Tom) \[1\] <https://asta.ac/kuerzungen> \[2\] <https://maps.rwth-aachen.de/navigator/?lang=en&type=roadmap&obj=1665> -- Mika Lagendijk, Informatik Mail: mika(a)fsmpi.rwth-aachen.de Studierendenschaft der RWTH Aachen Fachschaft Mathematik/Physik/Informatik Campus Mitte: Augustinerbach 2a, 1. Invitation to Blood on the Clocktower evenings in October
by Lars Frost (Fachschaft I/1) 02 Okt '25

02 Okt '25

Dear game enthusiasts, in October, the Fachschaft invites again to 2 Blood on the Clocktower evenings: When will we play? * 2025-10-16 18:30 - 23:00 in ST 1,2 * 2025-10-28 18:30 - 23:00 in ST 7,8 We will play in the seminar rooms in SemiTEMP building [1] and will offer free snacks and water. Everyone is welcome, including people from other faculties or friends. What is Blood on the Clocktower? Blood on the Clocktower is a social deception game: a game where you try to deceive the enemy team. Those familiar with the game Werewolf will know the general principle. In Blood on the Clocktower there is an evil team with a demon, who can kill a player every night. The good team has to kill the demon. For that, they can execute one player per day. The good team therefore tries to find the demon through their own ability and discussions in small groups and on town square, and then tries to convince their own team to kill the suspected demon. The evil team tries to support and cover up the demon. Unlike Werwolf, dead players can still talk and have one vote after death. Usually, these ghost votes decide who wins on the last day. Also, all players, good and evil, have their own unique role and ability, which gives them power or information. To enable the evil team to better fake other roles, the demon learns 3 roles currently not in play during the start of the game. A round usually takes between 60 and 120 minutes. It is possible to join a running game, so it is no problem if you cannot be there from the start. The game has extra roles designed for joining later. We are looking forward to seeing you, your Spiele-AK [1] https://maps.rwth-aachen.de/navigator/?lang=de&type=roadmap&obj=1665 <https://maps.rwth-aachen.de/navigator/?lang=de&type=roadmap&obj=1665>
