Dear game enthusiasts, the next game night of this semester is starting soon! We are meeting to play all kinds of board games. We will bring the game collection of the Fachschaft, but you are also welcome to bring your own games. During the evening we will offer free snacks. The game evening will start on Monday, the 27.04., at 6:30 p.m. in the rooms ST1 and ST2 of the *SemiTemp* (Schinkelstraße 15). Those who would like to help us with getting everything set up can already come at 6:00 p.m. to the Fachschaft (Augustinerbach 2a) and meet us there. We appreciate every helping hand. Everyone is welcome, including people from other faculties or friends. The following game night will likely take place on the 19.05. We are looking forward to seeing you, your Spiele-AK

Linux installation party on 28 April 2026
by Fachschaft 22 Apr '26

22 Apr '26

Want to give your computer a new lease on life? Then the Linux Install Party is the perfect place for you! Here, you’ll get help installing Linux (as a second operating system alongside Windows, if you’d like). We also have USB drives with Linux pre-installed ready for you. All you need to do is back up your personal data either at home or on-site. If you’re doing it on-site, please bring a storage device with enough space. Of course, we’ll also try to help you if you’ve already installed Linux but are having trouble. But anyone who wants to show off their i3 with semi-transparent windows or their obscure Emacs configuration is also more than welcome. At past LIPs, we’ve often held a SuperTuxKart tournament. To keep your stomachs from growling while you install, we’ll order pizza for you. - When? April 28, 2026, at 18:30 - Where? [Semi-Temp 3 & 4](https://maps.rwth-aachen.de/navigator/?lang=de&type=roadmap&obj=1665) We look forward to seeing you there! If you have any questions for us or ever run into problems with your Linux, just [send us an email](mailto:osak@fsmpi.rwth-aachen.de).

Sewing Evening Invitation
by Fachschaft 14 Apr '26

14 Apr '26

Hello, overall enthusiasts! Because sewing patches onto your overall is a lot more fun together, the student council will host a sewing evening on April 15th (tomorrow) at 6:30 pm in the SemiTemp. If your patch stash is not already flowing over, you can also purchase our student council's patches on-site for 2€ per patch (cash only). Additionaly we will offer free snacks and drinks, though there will be a deposit on cups. Otherwise, you're welcome to bring your own cups. We’ll have some sewing supplies on hand, but we recommend bringing your own. You’re also welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks. Please note, however, that we cannot tolerate high-proof drinks. We look forward to seeing you and your stylish overalls! Your OPAK

Blood on the Clocktower evenings in April 2026
by Fachschaft 01 Apr '26

Dear game enthusiasts, in April, the Fachschaft invites again to Blood on the Clocktower evenings: ### When will we play? - 2026-04-11 18:30 - 23:00 in ST 1,2 - 2026-04-21 18:30 - 23:00 in ST 3,4 We will play in the seminar rooms in SemiTEMP building [1] and will offer free snacks and water. Everyone is welcome, including people from other faculties or friends. ### What is Blood on the Clocktower? Blood on the Clocktower is a social deception game: a game where you try to deceive the enemy team. Those familiar with the game Werewolf will know the general principle. In Blood on the Clocktower there is an evil team with a demon, who can kill a player every night. The good team has to kill the demon. For that, they can execute one player per day. The good team therefore tries to find the demon through their own ability and discussions in small groups and on town square, and then tries to convince their own team to kill the suspected demon. The evil team tries to support and cover up the demon. Unlike Werwolf, dead players can still talk and have one vote after death. Usually, these ghost votes decide who wins on the last day. Also, all players, good and evil, have their own unique role and ability, which gives them power or information. To enable the evil team to better fake other roles, the demon learns 3 roles currently not in play during the start of the game. A round usually takes between 60 and 120 minutes. It is possible to join a running game, so it is no problem if you cannot be there from the start. The game has extra roles designed for joining later. We are looking forward to seeing you, your Spiele-AK [1] [https://maps.rwth-aachen.de/navigator/?lang=de&type=roadmap&obj=1665](https://maps.rwth-aachen.de/navigator/?lang=de&type=roadmap&obj=1665)
