23 Sep '24

Dear MaPhIns and gaming friends! The next online gaming night will take place on 25.09 from 8 pm with Factorio! We will meet in our Discord ( <https://fsmpi.eu/gaming> https://fsmpi.eu/gaming) and play together on a server in the RWTH network. Since this server is only accessible in the RWTH network, you have to use the RWTH VPN (more information <https://help.itc.rwth-aachen.de/service/vbf6fx0gom76/> here). With the new Factorio update just around the corner, keep an eye out for more events with our new public calendar ( <http://groupware.fsmpi.rwth-aachen.de/ajax/share/0ccb0a450ad8293dccb0a44ad8…> calendar link). As always, let us know what you think in the Discord chat or via email at <mailto:gaming@fsmpi.rwth-aachen.de> gaming(a)fsmpi.rwth-aachen.de. The Factory Must Grow! Your Gaming AG

Invitation for Blood on the Clocktower evening
by Lars Frost (Fachschaft I/1) 04 Sep '24

04 Sep '24

Dear game enthusiasts, for the 12. of September Fachschaft invites to a Blood on the Clocktower evening/afternoon. Blood on the Clocktower is a social deception game, so a game where you try to deceive the enemy team. Those familiar with the game Werewolf will know the general principle. In Blood on the Clocktower there is an evil team with a demon, who can kill a player every night. The good team has to kill the demon. For that, they can execute one player per day. The good team therefore tries to find the demon through their own ability and discussions in small groups and plenum, and then tries to convince their own team to kill the suspected demon. The evil team tries to support and cover up the demon. Unlike Werwolf, dead players can still talk and have one vote after death. Usually, these ghost votes decide who wins on the last day. Also, all players, good and evil, have their own unique role and ability, which gives them power or information. To enable the evil team to better fake other roles, the demon learns 3 roles currently not in play during the start of the game. One round takes between 60 and 120 minutes depending on group size. It is possible to join a running game, so it is no problem if you cannot be there at 16:00. The game has extra roles designed for joining later. We will start on the 12.09. at 16:00 and have time until 20:00. We will play in the seminar room in the ground floor of the Humboldthaus (Pontstraße 41). If you have a version of the game, please bring it also with you. Everyone is welcome, including people from other faculties or friends. We are looking forward to seeing you, your Spiele-AK

Fachschaft „Printentest“ invitation (06.12, 6 p.m.)
by Felix Engelhardt 29 Nov '21

29 Nov '21

Dear students, as (almost) every year we plan to hold our „Printentest“, with traditional „Printen“ and mulled wine and hot chocolate provided by the student council. This time the Printentest will take place on Monday, the 6th. of December, starting at 6 p.m. at the „Studiwiese“ in the computer science complex („Informatikzentrum“). Due to Corona, we will be outside, but hopefully thick jackets and warm drinks can keep the cold away. The „Studiwiese“ is — if you do not know it already — close to the E3 building and the parking lot at the back of computer science building (which is at Ahornstraße 55, but to access the „Studiwiese“ come from the other side via Mies van der Rohe road). Please note that we require a 2G certificate for all participants. Bests, Felix
